The VTA is not responsible for lost or stolen passes.  Riders should write their name on the back of the pass and take a picture or photocopy of it.  Lost passes can be replaced for a $10 fee IF the rider has a picture/photocopy of the back of the pass showing the pass number and their name. If the rider is unable to present this documentation, they will have to purchase another pass for for the full amount.  If the pass is damaged and is no longer accepted by the electronic farebox, it may be replaced for a $10 fee.  The damaged pass must be returned before a replacement can be issued.
