Per CDC: Masks Still Required on all VTA Buses & Vans


Per the order of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), masks are still required while onboard any VTA bus or van.

Effective 5/29/21, Governor Baker lifted certain COVID restrictions, but maintained a face mask requirement for public and private transportation providers (VTA, SSA, Uber, Lyft, taxis, ferries, livery).  

All passengers (over the age of 2) and drivers are required to wear a face covering (see below for guidance on acceptable masks) on all VTA buses, vans and at bus stops.  Per the Order, proof of medical exemption can be requested - refer to page 4, footnote 8 of Order.
