CDC/Federal Mandate: Masks Required on all VTA Buses, Vans and at Bus Stops


The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and the U.S. Department of Transportation remind the traveling public that at this time if you travel, you are still required to wear a mask on planes, buses, trains, and other forms of public transportation traveling into, within, or out of the United States, and in U.S. transportation hubs such as airports and station.

All passengers (over the age of 2) and drivers are required to wear a face covering (see below for guidance on acceptable masks) on all VTA buses, vans and at bus stops.  Per the Order, proof of medical exemption can be requested - refer to page 4, footnote 8 of Order.
