Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
Before making a request, first look to see if the information you are interested in is already publicly available through our website.
If the information you want is not publicly available, you can submit a FOIA request to the VTA's Records Access Officer (ROA). Requests for public records shall include a reasonable description of the requested record so that the ROA can identify and locate it promptly.
Requests for public records may be made orally in person to the ROA or may be written. Telephone requests may be accepted at the discetion of the ROA. Written requests may be delivered by a requester to the business address or designated email address of the ROA:
- by hand;
- by mail;
- by electronic mail; or
- by fax
